How do I KEY in a sale?
Depending on your terminal type, you would do one of the following:
Terminal Family Action You Need to Take
Nurit Type in the credit card number, and press enter.  Follow the prompts.
Omni Press F2 for a SALE, then key in card number and press enter.  Follow the prompts.
Tranz Press 1 for a SALE, then key in card number and press enter.  Follow the prompts.
Hypercom Key in card number, and press enter.  Follow the prompts.
Talento Press the blue triangle under SALE, key in account, press enter, and follow prompts.

How do I VOID a transaction?
Depending on the type of terminal, you would do one of the following.  Before attempting this, however, you need to make sure that the original transaction that you are going to void is STILL IN THE TERMINAL.  If you have already closed the batch, then you can NOT void the transaction.  You would, instead, need to run a return transaction. 
Terminal Family Action You Need to Take
Nurit Press the VOID key, enter/swipe card number, press enter, then follow prompts.
Omni Press F4 for VOID, enter/swipe card number, press enter, then follow prompts.
Tranz Press 4 for VOID, enter/swipe card number, press enter, then follow prompts.
Hypercom Press VOID key, enter/swipe card number, press enter, then follow prompts.
Talento Press RIGHT ARROW once, press triangle under VOID, follow prompts.

How do I run a RETURN transaction (refund)?
Depending on the type of terminal, you can enter a return transaction by doing one of the following:
Terminal Family Action You Need to Take
Nurit Press the RETURN key, enter/swipe card number, press enter, then follow prompts.
Omni Press F3 for REFUND, enter/swipe card number, press enter, then follow prompts.
Tranz Press 2 key, enter/swipe card number, press enter, then follow prompts.
Hypercom Press REFUND key, enter/swipecard number, press enter, then follow prompts.
Talento Press RIGHT ARROW once, press triangle under RETURN, follow prompts.

How do I CLOSE A BATCH?
To close your batch, depending on the type of terminal you have, you would do one of the following:
Terminal Family Action You Need to Take
Nurit 2080,2085 Press BATCH / ALT key.  Follow prompts.
Nurit 3010,3020 Press FUNCTION and then 6.  Follow prompts.
Omni Press key under the DOWN ARROW, then press F2 for SETTLEMENT.
Tranz Press 9, follow prompts.
Hypercom Press SETTLEMENT key, follow prompts.
Talento Press CLOSE.  Press the triangle key under YES.

How do I RE-PRINT a receipt?
Depending on your terminal type, you would do one of the following:
Terminal Family Action You Need to Take
Nurit Press the COPY / ALPHA key.
Omni Press REPRINT (purple key).
Tranz Press FUNCTION (blue ENTER key) and 5, then press 3 REPRINT RECEIPT.
Hypercom Press REPRINT key.  Enter Item #, and press enter.
Talento Press REPRINT key, then follow prompts.

How do I process a CALL CENTER terminal response?
When your terminal prompts you to CALL CENTER, call the Voice Authorization number on your terminal, usually 800-228-1122.  Follow the voice prompts and obtain an AUTHORIZATION NUMBER.   Once you have that number, you need to key in your sale into the terminal, using one of the following steps.
Terminal Family Action You Need to Take
Nurit Press the FORCED key, enter the card number, then follow the prompts.
Omni Press the key under the DOWN ARROW, press F1 for Ticket Only, follow prompts.
Tranz Press the 5 key, enter the card number, then follow the prompts.
Hypercom Press OFFLINE  key.  Enter card number, and press enter.  Follow the prompts.
Talento Press RIGHT ARROW twice, then press triangle under TICKET ONLY.  Enter card number,  then follow prompts.
